Exciting Opportunities at Cooper's Cove

Friday, December 7, 2018
  • The annual Christmas Bird Count is administered by the National Audubon Society, and the Hampshire County WV count circle is sponsored by the Burgundy Center for Wildlife Studies. If you are a die-hard birder, join us Dec 28 - 29 for a dawn-to-dusk bird walk, counting every feathered thing in sight. We gather for warm housing near the Cove, eat dinner, make teams, and try (and fail) to go to bed early. On Dec 29 we rise too early, trudge over hill and dale and count birds. Then we tally up after dinner, and some go home. If you want to join, email vinis@burgundyfarm.org.
