Supporting Burgundy

Burgundy's Advancement Office is responsible for the school's overall fund-raising program, communications, publications and alumni relations, as well as special events.

The Office works with the Head of School, the Board of Trustees, the Burgundy Parent Association and Burgundy Alumni Relations Network volunteers to enhance community relations and facilitate voluntary contributions to carry out the school's mission and programs.

Why Give?

As remarkable as it sounds, like many independent schools, Burgundy charges tuition that covers only a portion of the costs of educating each student. Burgundy relies on fundraising to help bridge the gap between tuition and expenses.

Supporting Burgundy by volunteering and contributing financially is a longstanding tradition. In the words of the founding families at the school’s dedication ceremony on December 6, 1946:

We the parents and founders dedicate this school. To it we pledge a part of ourselves, our time, our energy and skill of mind and body. With loyalty and sincerity, we give our best efforts to this creative adventure in education.
