Annual Auction

BF-Auction 2017-LOGO-web.pngBurgundy's 35th Annual Auction, will take place on Saturday, March 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Gym. Our theme, Burgundy in Bloom, celebrates the warm, supportive, creative, nurturing, and inclusive community where our children blossom into independent thinkers and joyful learners with an appreciation for human diversity and a sense of stewardship for the environment.

Tickets are on sale now!

Even if you're not attending, you're welcome to purchase raffle tickets (you do not need to be present to win) or make a direct contribution towards student financial aid. Thank you for your support!

The Annual Auction is Burgundy's major fundraising event and supports financial aid. One in five students receives financial aid to attend Burgundy. The auction features a cocktail reception, dinner, dessert and coffee, music, raffles, and both a live and silent auction.

Current parents, alumni parents, and alumni generously donate and/or obtain donated auction items from other individuals, businesses and organizations. The silent and live auctions allow parents to bid on class projects, parent donations, business services and vacation packages. A wide range of types and values for auction items offer opportunities for community members to bid and accommodates all pocketbooks. This is a fun and exciting evening for Burgundy parents and guests!

Last year’s Auction netted a record-breaking $161,587 to benefit financial aid to Burgundy students! With additional funding provided by Burgundy, this money helps a total of 70 students--one in four current students at Burgundy.

Highlights from the Evening

Thank you for a wonderful night and another successful Auction!

We truly appreciate everyone who made it to the event and joined our packed crowd to enjoy the silent and live auctions, raffles, and great libations with even better company! If you weren't able to attend, please know that you were missed. There was a lot of excitement in the room all night long, with many “bell ringer” special items offered a second time in both the silent and live auction!

The crowd was also excited to welcome back Neena Robertson ’93 (pictured below. She and her sister Renee ’88 both attended Burgundy. Their grandmother Lucille Robertson was a volunteer on campus for more than 15 years. Neena’s mother and father attended the auction as well. We’re so happy this family is part of our Burgundy family.

Just like some Burgundy students today, Neena and Renee needed a bit of help from financial aid. Because of this help from generous donors like you, Neena experienced a Burgundy education that was tremendously meaningful, and inspired her life path. Neena is a social worker supporting youth--a career that she was working towards as young as 3rd grade, inspired by the messages she got from Burgundy about caring for others.

Thanks again to Auction Co-Chairs Ann Grillo and Moley Evans for such a wonderful evening!
