Becoming part of the Burgundy community is, for many, like adopting an extended family.
Like family, the ties that bind us are strong, and often deepen with the passage of time. After graduation, alumni and their families often return to serve on committees or the Board, to volunteer at Open Houses and special events, or to help in the Library and classrooms. We welcome their many contributions and invite their participation.
Parents say that the friendships they form with Burgundy teachers or their fellow parents are among the deepest, most lasting of their lives. Hours spent working on the Fall Fair or the Annual Auction or evenings talking around the fire at Cooper’s Cove are fondly remembered by generations of Burgundians.
Family and friends are welcome and sometimes honored at our special events. The Burgundy Fall Fair acts as a homecoming event where alumni, alumni parents, and former faculty and staff can come to reconnect with the school and old friends.
We encourage family and friends to register with BARN, the Burgundy Alumni Relations Network. It’s a great way to stay in touch with other Burgundy community members, and there you can keep us up to date on your contact information and news for Voices. If you are not receiving Voices each year, please let us know so we can add you to the mailing list.
