The Advancement Office, through the Director of Communications, is responsible for internal and external school publications, marketing and advertising, and the school website.
Throughout the year, the school communicates with the public and with the extended Burgundy community in a variety of ways.
Constant Comment is the school’s primary vehicle for internal communications, news from and about the administration, board, faculty, students and parents. It is published on Fridays throughout the school year and sent by email to all current parents, faculty, and staff. Stories and photos for Constant Comment may be emailed to email@example.com. Because of space limitations, submissions may be edited.
Voices, the school magazine, is published yearly. It features articles about Burgundy and alumni, columns by the Head of School and the President of the Board, coverage of special events, and alumni notes. It is mailed to current families, alumni families, grandparents, special friends, and other independent schools.
The Burgundy Viewbook, with sections describing our academic program, educational philosophy, campuses, traditions, and history, is used to give prospective students and their families an overall look at the school. View an electronic version (PDF), or ask for a copy at the Admission Office.
Parent Handbook and School Directory
The Parent Handbook and School Directory is given to all Burgundy families at the beginning of the school year to provide parents with important information about the school, as well as a listing of each family’s address, telephone number and email address.
Burgundy’s Facebook page provides an online space for parents, alumni, staff and supporters to connect and communicate. The page features fun photos and timely updates about campus happenings and community member accomplishments.
