What Alumni Say
I attended Burgundy from 1972-1974 and the experience changed and shaped the rest of my life for the better…It was a powerful place for me for many reasons…(including) the impact of the quality and creativity of the education I received the entire time I was there… – Rebecca Torosian-Guzman, ‘75
I've always carried wonderful memories from my time at Burgundy with me throughout my life. I really believe that my one year at Burgundy helped me to think outside the box and to have a more holistic view on the world.

Burgundy gives its students the experience they need to succeed in life. Burgundy believes in experiential education; so instead of studying a tree through a textbook or through lecturing, the tree is studied by touching, smelling and examining…When the time comes for the child to identify the tree, it is recognized not only just from the textbook, but also by the feel and smell of it... In all these ways Burgundy prepares the whole child for the whole world, and by the end of Eighth Grade a student is ready to leave the nest of Burgundy and ride on the highway of life.
